Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals in the worst efficiency

Catching efficiency has emerged as one of the major talks in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), with Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals the biggest criminals. The teams that are sitting under the table are those who have struggled to catch the catch coming in their way. CSK, which is dull at the bottom of the table, has 64.3 percent less in IPL 2025.

During his defeat against the Punjab kings, Chennai was haunted by a catch dropped. Young opener Priyash Arya, who scored a scorching century, survived an early fear after holding his hold on the second ball of the innings of the youth of Chennai.

During his stability against Royal Challengers Bangalore, captain Rajat Paridar was reprimanded at 18 and made his way for half a century. Remarkable, both players won the Player of the Match Awards.

While Rajasthan Royals have not either done much justice to themselves, the Royals are 70.5 percent catch efficiency on the second floor of the table. Mumbai Indians have fulfilled their supremacy with a catch efficiency of 83.3 percent.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are warm on Mi’s heel with a catch efficiency of 82.4 percent. Royal Challengers Bangalore captured third place with a catch efficiency of 80.9 percent.

When someone is deep, among the players who have four or more catches, Yuzvendra Chahal of Punjab and Vijay Shankar of Chennai have performed the worst with their butterfly.

Among the five catch opportunities, Chahal and Shankar have dropped three. One of the opportunities to miss Chahal was Abhishek Sharma of SRH. The young Southpow was batting at 57 when Chahal let him go on an opportunity to be caught. With his 141-rran Blitzcrayg, he broke the record of the highest individual score by an Indian in the history of the Cash-Rich League.

Given the specific places where the highest catches are dropped, Jaipur is at the top. The site has seen 12 dropped catches, which are more than nine. So far, in the season, Arya and the Shimron Hetmier of Rajasthan have been the most lucky, each being achieved five times again.
