Akash ready for basketball to become main story vs. Liberty

As Chicago Sky navigated a difficult schedule, Star Angel Reese finds himself between more drama.

Meanwhile, New York Liberty appears to be focused on defending its WNBA title already.

When they host Liberty on Thursday night, Reez and The Sky reversed with a thick opener.

New York coach Sandy Brondelo said, “This is something that we will continue in next weeks.”

“Yes, our goal is to win another championship. … It’s going to be difficult, but let’s embrace the difficulty.”

New York won the last three meetings of four 2024 against Chicago, which has lost six direct dating in the previous season.

After helping to win Liberty with Chicago back a year ago, experienced courtney wanderslut knows that Akash will have to give a chance on Thursday.

“I would really like to think that we are not going to play the evil again,” Wanderslut, who had four points with five assistance in Indiana, told Chicago Sun-Times.
