As Chicago Sky navigated a difficult schedule, Star Angel Reese finds himself between more drama.
Meanwhile, New York Liberty appears to be focused on defending its WNBA title already.
When they host Liberty on Thursday night, Reez and The Sky reversed with a thick opener.
Chicago (0–1) shot 29.1 percent, allowing Indiana to make about 47 percent of her shots during Saturday’s 93–58 road damage. This was a disappointing beginning for the Tyler Marsh coaching era for the sky, which was made worse by some non-basketball drama.

After the moments of lifting their first championship banner, the franchise scored 25 runs by Breanna Stewart, newcomer Natasha Cloud posted 22 and Jonquale Jones with 10 rebounds with 10 rebounds as Liberty shot 48.6 percent despite the three -binding range.
New York coach Sandy Brondelo said, “This is something that we will continue in next weeks.”
“Yes, our goal is to win another championship. … It’s going to be difficult, but let’s embrace the difficulty.”
New York won the last three meetings of four 2024 against Chicago, which has lost six direct dating in the previous season.
After helping to win Liberty with Chicago back a year ago, experienced courtney wanderslut knows that Akash will have to give a chance on Thursday.
“I would really like to think that we are not going to play the evil again,” Wanderslut, who had four points with five assistance in Indiana, told Chicago Sun-Times.
