Rory Mcilroy Headlines Field at RBC Canadian Open

In addition to the previous year, when it was flipped with a memorial tournament on the schedule, the RBC Canadian Open has worked directly as an important tune before the US Open.

Rory McLero, who remembered the Memorial last week before a visit to the Toronto region, certainly liked it in this way.

Mcilroy is only one of the eight players in the world playing this week, a group, including Sweden’s Ludwig Eberg, Irishman Shane Lori and Defending Champion Robert McIntire.

McIntire defeated Ben Griffin with a stroke last year to win his first PGA tour, then won his National Open, Scottish Open a month later. He and McLero have the same stance on the importance of national opening in their game.

“Being from Europe, we have opened up a lot of nationals – the Scottish Open, French Open, Spanish Open, an incident in Belgium, in Austria last week,” said McIntire. “… There are a lot of Canadian players this week, who clearly want to win Canadian Open. Everyone wants to win this week, but it just adds an additional incentive to Canadian people as it is open, and I think the crowd also manufactures it.”

Corey Cours (No. 21) remain the top Canadian in the official world golf rankings, and he is sixth in the tournament twice in the last three years.

Nick Taylor wanted to stay in the next line after Nick Taylor broke the 69 -year drought for Canadian people at his national championship in 2023.

“Listoval, Ontario, growing up as a young child, playing golf every day, to see RBC Canadian Open, it was a childhood dream to play in the event one day,” said the conversion. “… I think I feel lucky in that situation.”

The only male Canadian lead champion Mike Wear, will play in his record-hang 32nd Canadian Open. On Thursday and Friday, an all-calendians threesome include Taylor, McCenzie Hughes and Taylor Pendrith.

TPC Toronto starts its tournament and PGA Tour. The players will navigate a par-70, 7,389-yard course, which was given a renewal before his arrival.
