Rishabh Pant urged the East-India star to take more control of LSG.

Rishabh Pant -led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Tuesday instigated a widespread defeat against the Delhi Capital (DC), which led to very little debate to bat in a low position. Then, Visuals showed some animated chats in the dugout between pants and LSG patron Zaheer Khan. However, former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu has rejected the attitude of the pants.
Speaking on Star Sports, Rayudu said, “I think the pants really need to take on themselves. He really needs to make a decision. Sometimes these scenes are not really good if you are a good team.”
“You want everything to be behind the closed doors. You want everything to be said indoors.
Pants cut a disturbed figure during several parts of LSG’s fielding effort, showing dissatisfaction with bowlers Digvesh Rathi and Avesh Khan.
The pants have finished a thick season with the bat, managing only 106 runs in nine matches, which is at a rate of less than 100.
Ruudu, while talking about LSG decisions, urged the pants to take more responsibility.
“The pants need to take control of the decisions being taken in LSG. He needs to come to order. He cannot give any other excuse. He is a captain and it is a captain’s game. We all accept,” Rayudu said.
Rayudu said, “While moving forward, LSG needs to make some changes: maybe Mayank Yadav. Also the pants have to bat a little more. You are quite tense about the whole situation.”
LSG vs. DC, IPL 2025: As happened
KL Rahul hit an unbeaten 57 to run Delhi Capital to win a strong eight wickets over Lucknow Super Veterans and returned his side to win the ways of winning the IPL on Tuesday.
Chasing a modest 160 to win, Delhi rode on the knock off 42 balls of Rahul and shared a second wicket with Abishek Porl to hit 51 with 13 balls with 13 balls in Lucknow’s home ground.
Delhi, with six wins in eight matches, from their previous defeat to Table-Toppers, bounced back to Gujarat Titans and ranked second in the 10-Team table.
“We knew that we were 20 runs,” said Pant. “In Lucknow, the toss plays a big role. Anyone who is bowling first gets a lot of help from the wicket. We just had to stay back, we could not just remove it.”
