Inter Miami CF is allegedly in talks to sign the Argentina team’s partner of Atlatico Madrid Midfielder Rodrigo de Paul, a close friend and superstar Lionel Messi’s Argentina team’s partner.

Athletic reported on Thursday that La Liga Paksha is open to an agreement and Da Paul is “for some time” on Miami’s radar.

D Paul, 31, and Messi won the 2022 FIFA World Cup simultaneously in Qatar.

Miami may have a decision to occupy three roster nominated players in the form of Messi, midfielder Sergio Basquett and defender Jordan Alba.

The report suggested that Busquets, which turned 37 next week, may be a strange man and perhaps the midseason may retire. Alba signed an extension through 2027 in May and Messi is expected to do this widely, as his current deal lasts up to 2025–26.

Without an empty DP opening, athletic reported that D Paul would have to reach the fee plus salary which is about $ 850,000 for 2025.

Da Paul has been a regular for Atletico since 2021, 187 shows 14 goals and 26 assistance. He played before Udinis (2016–21), Valencia (2014-16) and Racing Club (2012-14).
