Milwauki Box agreed to expand a multiear contract with General Manager John Horst, ESPN on Thursday.
The deal came together on Wednesday night according to the report between ownership and Horst agent, Brian Elphus.
42 -year -old Horst, Milwauki has been GM since June 2017, won the NBA Executive of NBA’s honor in 2019 and led the box in his first championship in 50 years in 2021.
Milwauki has gone into playoffs in all eight sessions under Hursts, the first manager of basketball operations for Detroit Piston (2007-08) and was the director of basketball operations for Box (2008–17).
In this season, Bux (48–34) earned the number 5 seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs. She with Indiana pacers 2–0 in her best-seven round series, with Game 3 in Milwauki on Friday night.
