Belal Muhammad Confident vs. Jack Dela Madlena in UFC 315

The UFC is back with a pair of title fights with a pair in Montreal for the first time in a decade on Saturday night, including welterweight champion Belal Muhammad and number 5 ranked Australian Challenger Jack Dela Madlena, which tops the 12-fight card for UFC 315.

Muhammad (24-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) is protecting his first title after injuries at the end of last year. Muhammad harassed former champions Leon Edwards in a new era in a new era in a new era in a new era in a new era in a new era in July last July.

Muhammad, a native of Chicago, said on Thursday that Dela Madlena (17-2 MMA, 7–0 UFC) would not have seen a new version of Muhammad’s previous opponents: “Kenalo Hands.”

“Jack goes down in three (round),” Muhammad told reporters at the former-fight presser.

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that Muhammad was in a mixture for a possible super-fight against former Fedarweight Champion Ilya Topapuria or UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makheve, if he was to win. The UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Olivera is also in conversation for a title shot, preventing potential results.

“It’s so accurate,” said White.

Dela Madlena did not take very politely for Muhammad’s words, dismissing the notion that Muhammad would not use his powerful wrestling base to win the battle.

“This is not going to happen,” said Dela Madlena.

Dela Madlena has not lost in nine years, compiling an impeccable UFC mark in September 2021 in September 2021 after earning a UFC contract against his grain White contender series bout.

Co-headliner noticed that Valentina Shevachhenko began her second term as the UFC flyweight champion against French-native Manon Forot. Shevchenko (24–4–1 MMA, 13–3–1 UFC) avenged the belt against Alexa Grasso last September. Meanwhile, Fiorot (12–1 MMA, 7–0 UFC) became the first Frenchwoman to win a UFC title and extended the streak of his campaigner victory to eight.

The rest of the card has a mixture of former champions, veterans and top possibilities.

The main card celebrations run on the pay-per-view on PT at 10 pm ET/7 pm.
