Thomas Byorn, Darren Clarke took a team event in Wisconsin

Thomas Byrne of Denmark and Darren Clarke of North Ireland won four-shot at the American Family Insurance Championship in Madison, Vis on Sunday.
For the first year of the tournament at TPC Wisconsin and for the first time as a team event, Byorn and Clarke went under 32 under more than three rounds. Playing four-goals (Best ball) on Sunday, the pair shot 7-under 64 to be ahead of the pack.
Byorn and Clarke shot 59 in the best ball on Friday and 58 in a scuffle format on Saturday.
54 -year -old Byorn had won twice on the European senior tour, but won his first win over the PGA Tour Champion. 56 -year -old Clarke won his fifth win over 50 and old circuits, but his first after the Senior Open Championship of 2022.
When Byorn gave a bogie card in Par-4 First Hole on Sunday, it marked the first and only bogey of the tournament.
He bounced back with a shirt in para -5 second holes, added the burdies to Nos 4 and 5, and made four in a row in Nos 9–12. Bjorn nos. In 9 and 12, was responsible for Berdies, Clarke Nos 10 and 11.
Four teams finished second under 28. Germany’s Alex Sejka and Soren Kedelsen of Denmark jointly did the best round of the week for 59 on Sunday. He was accompanied by Daug Baron and Dicky Pride (60), Steve Flash and Paul Goedos (64), and Steve Striker and Mario Tiziani (65).
Bernhard Langer, Germany and Steven Alkar in New Zealand – Fresh from 57 in Saturday’s scuffle – 27 finished sixth. He posted 63 in the final round.
South Africa’s Erni Els, who won last year when it was an individual stroke play tournament, finished seventh in 26 with team partner Tim Heron (66 Sunday).
