IPL 2025: East-India Star has raised RCB or PBKS so that I can take the title

Former India captain and chief selector Dilip Vengsarkar has supported Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) or Punjab Kings (PBK) to raise its first Indian Premier League (IPL) title in the 2025 season. Both RCB and PBK have qualified for the playoffs and are in controversy for the top two spots on the points table, two games remain in their league stage. Currently, RCB is ranked second and will take Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow super veterans on Friday and 27 May respectively in Lucknow.
On the other hand, PBK, headed by Shreyas Iyer, has qualified for the first playoffs in 11 years. He has been ranked third in Jaipur with two matches to play against Delhi Capital and Mumbai Indians respectively in Jaipur.
“RCB and Punjab have been trying to lift the title for many years. I hope one of these teams wins the IPL this time – this team will be great for the franchise and owners,” Vengsarkar asked IANS who would win in IPL 2025.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar credited the team’s bowling attack for his successful IPL 2025 campaign so far and supported him to guide the franchise for his long -awaited first IPL title.
“In T20 Games, good, experienced bowlers who understand how to bowl in specific circumstances help a lot. Your bowling group can win the match you – and even the title. I think this year, we prepared well and chose players, which we needed in specific areas. It is working well.
Patidar also praised the team’s atmosphere. “Vibe and atmosphere in the dressing room is good. We have great team bonding activities and work well together. Even beyond the XI, the rest of the squads take initiative, communicate openly, and have fun. It’s a positive atmosphere,” he said.
