ACC presses BCCI on Asia Cup

Yesterday, it was reported that the Asia Cup would begin on 5 September. However, it turns out that BCCI does not agree to do anything yet.

According to Times Nabs News, the ACC has written to the Indian Board and asked them to respond as soon as possible. The Asian body has written that they need to start preparations 60 days before the incident starts. If 5 September is actually the beginning date, they need an answer until 5 July. It is just three days away.

“We have been informed that in the absence of this information, their ability to effectively plan, allocate resources and execute their campaigns is quite constrained. Also, to highlight the challenges faced by them, media rights partners have exposed 60 and 90 days before the start of 2025 tournaments. ACC wrote to BCCI.

Fear of monetary loss

The ACC also said that they are facing pressure from TCM Sports and Soniliv, their sponsors. Due to the busy multinational schedule, the September window can be the only time when the Asia Cup can be played. If this does not, the Asia Cup may not be held this year. It insisted that the tournament is the only source of ACC income, without which they cannot work.

In this light, in the light, other major tournaments are now expected to worry to worry for our rights, now we are expecting concerns for our rights. The Asia Cup is the main source of income for the organization.
