Cardinals hang to defeat the National, win 7th directly

Andre Palcete threw 7 1/3 of strong innings, Lars Nutbar scored in a pair of runs, and on Saturday afternoon, defeating Washington National 4-2 on Saturday afternoon, an unstable Saint Luis Cardinals survived by Ryan Helsi.

Pallante (3–2) conceded two runs on five hits, while I was thrown out and no one was running for cardinals, which won the seventh consecutive game. St. Louis scored all his runs in the second innings with Washington Starter Trevor Williams.

Helsley retired the first two batsmen in the ninth, but surrendered the same to Jose Tena and ran the next two batsmen. He achieved his seventh savings to fly CJ Abrams.

Williams (2–4) gave his longest start of a season to four runs on seven hits in six innings. He hit four and one went away.

National’s Run Dialon Crew came in eighth position on homer, which he had only one of the two additional-base hits. He matched the cardinals with a total of seven hits, but lost his fourth straight game.

After a scorched first, Williams drove Wilson Contrass with a pitch and Alec with one to Alec Berlson. Two-out single of Pedro page put St. Louis on board. Victor Scott II then killed an RBI single and Nutbar pressed into two with his ninth double of the season, giving the cardinals a 4–0 lead.

Washington threatened with two outsiders with the bunts of Keibert Ruiz’s leadoff single and Jacob Young in the fifth, but Pallantte survived the crew out and survived the danger.

Kol Henry threw a perfect seventh place in his 1 1/3 innings in the relief of Williams, and Zach Brzykcy got the last two outs of the eighth.

Ana closed Pallende a single to start the bottom of the eighth, and with one, the crew hit their fifth homer of the season, which half -baked the citizens, which halved the deficit of the citizens and chased the Pallent.

Jojo Romero gave relief to Pallante and immediately allowed Abram’s double, but Romero retired the Alex call, run James Wood and survived trouble by taking Nathaniel Lowe to the ground.
