Olers de Matias Ekhom Game Hope to return to the game 5 vs stars

Defenseman Matias will return to lineups for Edmonton Oilers in the Final-Clining Game 5 against Matias Ekhom Dallas stars.
With an unknown injury since April 11, Ekhom missed the first two rounds of the playoffs for oileers, who defeated Los Angeles Kings in six matches and Vegas Golden Nights in five to take a 3–1 lead over stars.
The Ekom was with the top protective unit during the skate on Thursday morning.
“There is a man who has been playing for us for a big minutes because he has come too much for Edmonton,” Oilors’ head coach Krrish Nobbleuch told reporters on Thursday. “Playing a shut-down role, playing the role of a penalty-fort, whatever it is. To come back and feel great, this is a great additional for our team.”
Regarding his injury, Ekhom said “it looks really good,” but he is still sure that I am in a good place where I can not only play, but can face some blasts. ” He tried to return twice in the last few weeks to increase his injury.
Ekhom scored a career-high 11 goals in the last season and Edmonton helped the rally with a 3–0 series deficit in the Stanley Cup final, which Olers eventually lost to Florida Panthers. His 2024–25 campaign was reduced to nine goals, while his 22:11 average ice was third in the team.
