Courage to win 2-0 win over royals

From the second goal of Ashley Sanchez’s season, Northern Carolina courage claimed a 2–0 win over Utah Royals at Sandy, Utah on Saturday night.
North Carolina (2-3-2, 8 points) won their second direct match after winning through their first five competitions. Courage also won his first road and lost only once in four road matches. KC Murphy picked up his second clean sheet of the season.
Utah (1-5–1, 4 digits) once again left his second direct competition after struggling to create enough scoring opportunities. Royals have scored only four goals through their first seven matches. They have been closed in four of their five deficit.
Northern Carolina ended with 16–9 benefits in total shots. Courage generated six shots on the target, limiting Utah to only one ball on the frame.
Sanchez placed North Carolina on board in the 12th minute. He hit quickly after putting a latch on a ball deformed at the top of the box. Sanchez settled the ball and dropped it back in the middle.
Kate Dale Fava increased his lead in courage in the 43rd minute after a defensive mistake, which led to his own goal.
The relay Jackson had a chance to add a third goal in the 87th minute, but a misunderstanding on the penalty kick, which widened the ball to a nearby post.
