Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia concluded its season 15 regular sessions with hosting the new record for the league. Malaysia’s longest and the most popular asports event confirmed these new milestones during the last week of its regular session, which took place on yesterday (25 May) in Kiara in the Stadium of Champions (Stadium Jura).

MPL Malaysia is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Rakan Muda, Asports Integrated (ESI), Malaysia Asports Federation (MESF), and Persatuan Stadium Malaysia (PSM).

The Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG) maintained their dominance as kings of the regular session after finishing the top of the standing for the third serial season with 26 points, for the first time for any team in the league history. MPL Malaysia’s back-to-back champion obtained a replica of his impeccable performance in Season 13 to win the Ocean Black (OB) and Tea Ray (TR) 2–0 in the week 6 of the regular season, to win an unbeaten 9-0 match. The SRG enters the playoffs with one of the cooked upper bracket semils.

The MPL Malaysia season 15 playoffs will be in two weekends – 1 phase 1 from May 31 to June 1, and 14 to 15 June. All playoff matches will follow the Grand Finals, leaving one best-five (BO5) format, which will be one of the best-seven (BO7).

The playoff will begin with the upper bracket quarter -finals, which will follow a single eradication format, that is, the losing team will be immediately knocked out of the tournament. The upper bracket quarter -final winners upper brackets will proceed to the semi -finals; From this phase, the match will follow a double-elimination format, IE, teams will not be eliminated until they lose two matches and fall into the brackets of the losing at their first loss.

The winners will be awarded the next day (1 June) with a matchup in the upper bracket semi -finals against SRG (11:00 AM GMT+8) and HB (3:00 PM GMT+8).
