Alex Palu won 4 in the first 5 race with the title Sonsio Grand Prix

Spain’s Alex Palu continued his dominance of the Indycar series by capturing the Sonsio Grand Prix title at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road course on Saturday.
Ganasi Racing’s Palu, who was sitting on the pole, flew across the finish line 5.48 seconds before the Pato O’Ward to become the Indycar series driver before Sebstian Burdees in 2006, to win four out of the first five races of the season. Palu became the first driver to win the Grand Prix in Indianapolis for three consecutive years.

Graham Rahal led 49 out of 85 laps compared to Palu’s 29, but ended in the sixth position – 19 seconds behind the champion.
Palou enters the Indycar Series-Agni for two weeks with 248 points for Indianapolis 500. It is 97 points ahead of Kyle Kirkwood of the second place, which also runs a Honda. Palu has won St. Petersburg, Thermal and Nai, besides Saturday’s race. He was second on Long Beach.
While the 28 -year -old Palu is at a pace to win the title of fourth time in five years, his immediate target is claiming his first Indy 500 on 25 May.

All-time series records for winning a season in 10 by AJ Foyt in 1964 and Al UNSER in 1970. There are 12 races remaining this season.
