“No Cricket with Pakistan”: Angry former RCB Star wrote to BCCI on Pahgam Horror

The sports fraternity of India pushed between sorrow and anger as it joined the nation to condemn the deadly terrorist attack in Pahgam, with some demand that the country should cut all sports relations with Pakistan. On Tuesday, militants set fire to a major tourist place in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, killing at least 26 civilians and injuring several others. Resistance Morcha (TRF), a shadow group of restricted Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Tabiba (Late) Terror Group, claimed responsibility for the attack.
“And it’s okay that I say – you do not play cricket with Pakistan. Never. Never. When the BCCI or the government refused to send India to the Champions Trophy in Pakistan, some were adventurous to say, ‘Oh, but the game should rise above politics’,” former cricketer of India, “Sriwetts Goswami said in a strong post.
He said, “The killing of innocent Indians is Pakistan’s national sport and India should respond with zero tolerance and not with bats and balls,” he said.
