Red bull dominates from beginning to end on the galaxy

Eric Maxim Choopo-Motoring and Emil Fursburg each scored two goals in the 7–0 demolition of Los Angeles Galaxy at the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.

The seven-gap difference was the biggest disadvantage in the Galaxy history, and it matched the greatest victory in the history of the franchise of New York.

Los Angeles (0-9-3, 3 digits) MLS is the first team to open a season with a 12-match winner streak in history. Saturday’s results underlined the rapid fall of Galaxy from the championship Glory, as Galaxy defeated Red Bulls five months ago in the 2024 MLS Cup final.

Cameron Harper and Dennis Gajengar also scored for the Red Bulls (5-4-3, 18 points). La Defender Mickey Yamen had her goal for other Tally in New York.

Carlos Coronal made six savings to earn their fifth shutout of the season.

Formsberg also made two assistance on Saturday and led the Red Bulls with nine goals contributions (five goals, four aids).

Chuopo-Motor opened scoring with Formsberg on a tick-tack-to passing play in the seventh minute. Nine minutes later, Omar Valencia sent a wide open forms in the box to a good pass, and Forsberg took advantage of a porous defense to change the shot.

The attack continued in the 31st minute, as there was a lot of place to maneuver in New York again on the edge of the LA ground. Goalkeeper John Macarthi made a big savings against Mohammad Sofo, but Formsberg collected a rebound and went to a streaking Chupo-Motor for Finnish.

Both Harper and Gajengars came out of the substitute bench in the 67th minute, and Harper collected his first goal of the season just one minute after the game. Gjengaar added to the route in the 88th minute.

The final insult to Los Angeles came three minutes in stops time, as Yamne made a sick-commentary back pass, which left McCarthi for his goal.
