Rajat Patidar achieved a magnificent milestone as it reached 1000 IPL runs in only 30 innings. The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain on Friday performed feats during the IPL 2025 encounter against Punjab Kings. Patidar was the second fastest Indian to reach a milestone behind Sayin Sudarshan of Titans in Gujarat, who reached the mark in 25 innings. The stylish Right-Hand provoked previous famous names such as Sachin Tendulkar and Ruturaj Gikwad, both took 31 innings to reach the milestone. Tilak Verma of Mumbai Indians played 33 innings to cross 1000 IPL runs.

However, Patidar has a different achievement-that is a unique achievement-he is the first Indian batsman in IPL history, reaching 1000 runs with an average of more than 35 and has a strike rate above 150. This outlines her stability and effect, especially in high pressure conditions, makes her one of the most promising Indian batsmen in the current T20 circuit.

Punjab Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets in their rain-kilt Indian Premier League match on Friday.

Batting first, Tim David (50 runs off 26 balls) attacked RCB to nine to 95 to raise fifty, which was reduced to 14 overs per side after the delay started due to the evening shower.

In response, PBK completed the chase with Nehal Wadhera in 12.1 overs and scored 33 runs off 19 balls. Josh Hazelwood (3/14) bowled brilliantly for RCB, but his effort was not enough.

Earlier, RCB lost wickets at regular intervals with the choice of Arshdeep Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Marco Jansen.
