BCCI Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings pays special tribute to the Indian Armed Forces beyond the IPL game. The video goes viral

Both Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings prepared for the Indian national anthem to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces before their IPL 2025 struggle at Sarai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday. After a week’s suspension due to cross-border tension with Pakistan, RR-PBKS Clash is the first appropriate match after the IPL 2025 resume on Saturday. The Saturday clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders was washed due to rain without a toss in Bengaluru, removing the stimulation of the IPL restart.

In a tribute to the Indian armed forces, who demonstrated their impeccable valor to protect the countrymen from the enemy, the players sang the national anthem together to honor their valuable contribution before the match started. The message being displayed on the screen of the “Thank You Armed Forces” stadium was when the Indian national anthem was played.

During the toss, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer thanked the Indian armed forces for the protection of the country’s borders amid tension with Pakistan.

He said, “Kudos for army forces who have worked for the country and have ensured that we are in a comfortable position,” he said during the toss after the election to bat first.

Michelle Owen, Marco Jansen and Azmatullah are three foreign players for PBK.

For Rajasthan Royals, a fully fit Sanju Samson attended the captain, in which Nitish Rana was replaced in XI. Kwena Maphaka came to Jofra Archer.
