The English players involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) want to leave the country after accurate attacks by India during Operation Sindoor in vengeance of the Pahgam terror attack in Kashmir, claiming 26 innocent lives. A few hours after the midnight strike by the Indian Armed Forces on the terrorist infrastructure in the country, the Pakistan Cricket Board on Wednesday vowed to continue the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League and move forward in enmity between the two countries.
But with apprehension that the struggle may move forward in war between nations, English players in PSL face the decision to remain in the country.
Seven England players – Sam Billings, James Wins, Tom Curan, David Willy, Chris Jordan, Tom Kohaler -Canimor and Luke Wood – PSL.
According to a report made by www.telecomasia.net, Willy and Jordan have communicated with their franchise Multan Sultans to want to get out at home as their team is already out of the playoffs and has only one match left.
Sources quoted in the report said that England and Wales Cricket Board and Professional Cricketers have been in touch with the players and still have not instructed them to leave, but can turn on a travel advisor by the UK government.
In the early hours of May 7, India launched accurate attacks by targeting nine high -value terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK), claiming 26 lives -25 Indians and a Nepali National in response to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahgam.
The wind and missile strikes were focused only on the infrastructure of terror associated with internationally designated groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Tabiba. Care was taken care of to avoid civic casualties or to avoid damage to Pakistan’s military assets, which underlines India’s commitment to strategic restraint even in vengeance.
