MS Dhoni to play another season after IPL 2025? CSK Legend’s big claim on the future of Legend

MS Dhoni and retirement are a constant subject of discussion during the Indian Premier League every time around the crops. However, it seems that Dhoni’s chapter with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is far away. According to reports, Dhoni is unlikely to retire after IPL 2025. The 43 -year -old, currently captaining the CSK, was excluded by Ruturaj Gikwad for the rest of the IPL 2025 after an injury. Dhoni has revealed that he does not yet know if this is his previous season, but the report states that he is ready to continue.

According to a Times of India report, internal sources in the franchise in CSK are confident that Dhoni is ready to continue beyond IPL 2025, and well in his mid-chori.

According to the report, at this stage there are lots of loose ends to deal with MS Dhoni from within the team.

It is important to note that CSK is once again undergoing an infection phase. The franchise received a huge wake-up call in IPL 2025, which has been their worst time in IPL history. This has made a major change in the approach, as a replacement of injury during the season in many young talents with CSK.

However, Gaikwad injured and with many young players in the team, Dhoni’s presence will be important to help CSK in the new era infection.

Dhoni has previously revealed that he does not yet know whether he will play in the next season or not. The 43 -year -old has said it will depend on his fitness, as he plays only two months of IPL during the year.

“I am 43 years old, as long as I end this July, I will be 44 years old. I have given 10 months to decide if I have to play another year. It is not me that is not deciding what is deciding, it is the body that tells you that you can do it in a year or not,” Dhoni said this year.
