Crew’s Diego Rossi tie with FC Cincinnati on a penalty kick

The second half penalty kick of Diego Rossi on Saturday tied the Columbus Crew 1–1 with a visit to FC Cincinnati.
Kevin Denki put forward Cincinnati in the 6th minute before Rossi equaled in the 54th.
Roman Celebentano saved three of its five saves after a hastime for Cincinnati (9-3-2, 29 points), which is 7-1-1 in the last nine matches.

The crew was denied a Go-forward goal in the 73rd minute when Celebentano built a great diving stop at a left post on a header of Jacan Russell-Rur.
The occasion was part of the constant pressure by the crew, resulting in the result of the 75th minute to just two in the first half. The crew got eight corners for the match. The first half of Cincinnati had seven of its eight.
The FC Cincinnati is 8–0-1 when scoring first, while the crew has a mark of MLS-Best 3–1-3, when the opening is allowed.
Cincinnati is unbeaten in the last three matches, which is a real darby to win the MLS Cup since the crew’s 3–2 victory at the final N Marg of the 2023 Eastern Conference. In the previous season, FC Cincinnati won 2–1 in Columbus and equaled 0–0 at home.
The crew kept a 6-3-6 regular season record in the series.
