Report: NFL owners expected Roger Goodll contract extension to fix

Athletic reported that NFL owners are expected to approve a contract expansion for Commissioner Roger Goodale at their spring league meeting on Wednesday.
Goodll, 66, has been the Commissioner since 2006, and their current contract ends in March 2027.
He last received a contract expansion in 2023 – his fourth – his fourth.
League does not disclose Goodll’s salary, but at the time of its most recent expansion, ESPN stated that he allegedly earned $ 63.9 million in 2019-20 and 2020–21 seasons.
Goodll has seen both domestic and international league growth. The teams are more valuable than ever, thanks to a media-rights deal, which Goodle helped interact, Washington Commanders sold for a record $ 6.065 billion in 2023. NFL has also expanded its global footprint, with seven regular-season games to be played outside the United States in 2025.
Gudel is the eighth NFL Commissioner and his tenure is only second in the length of Pete Rosel, who served 1960–89.
