St. Louis Cardinals return home on Friday to face New York Mets after settling to Partition in a brief Char-Game Road trip to Cincinatti.

Holmes has won three out of three of their last four. In his last three appearances, he allowed only two earned runs, eight hits and four walks in 16 innings, while out of 16.
He did not get any decision against the cardinals in the April 20 game, which he limited to two runs with just one run and six strikes in six innings. This was Holmes’ only career against cardinals. For his career, he is 0–2 with 6.16 ERA in 12 appearances (a beginning) against St. Louis.
Gray starts in five with 2.76 ERA with 4–0.
