RSL’s Rafael Cabral earns a third shutout in 0–0 tie vs. Timbers

Rafael Cabral on Wednesday made three savings to help the Real Salt Lake record tie a Real Salt Lake record with Portland Timbers at Sandy, Utah on Wednesday.

In the 89th minute, Cabrals stopped a close-in shot by Omar Fernandez, which was followed by the follow-up by Sam Junwa to preserve the third shutout of the Cabral season.

Real Salt Lake (4-7-2, 14 points) is 1-1-2 in the last four matches.

Portland’s Maxim Krepu had one of the four matches for his second shutout in four matches this season.

The last 10 matches are Timbers (6-3-4, 22 digits) 5-1-4.

Diego Luna of Real Salt Lake ended with a three -match goal strida (four goals), while Antony’s five -match assistance streak was shy to tie the portland record to the Lakir.

In the first half, one of its four shots with each among the team was placed on the target.

Portland got the first crack in scoring in the sixth minute when Antony forced one to save one by a tight angle. It was 10 minutes later the RSL turn when Junkwa found a place at the top of the box for a strike that was easily covered by Krepu.

A pair with a shot from the distance by David da Costa of Portland was going over the bar in 31st with near-proofs and just before the brake, RSL was open to a partition-second in the center of the box before the Claudio Bravo shut down to create a block of Ruki Ruki Zewear Gozo.

Antony at the Afterback Mark got an opportunity for its fifth goal of the season, with a shot shot from the left side of the box.

Real Salt Lake was without forward William Agada (Red Card) and Defender Juston Glad (Yellow-Card accumulation). Both will be available in Colorado on Saturday.
