Wilmer Floors, Giants pulls away to win over Bruers

Wilmer Flores broke a sixth-inning tie with his seventh domestic run, Robbie Ray played five effective innings and San Francisco veterans opened a homestand for a week with a 5–2 win over Milwoki Broovers on Monday night.

Hayden Birdsong (1-0) got out of the eighth inning jam to cap on his three-inning relief attempt. Camillo Doval threw 1-2-3 in the ninth place for his third sev of the season, causing the veterans to wipe out the memories of the walk-off grief in the 5-4 defeat against Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.

After Kaleb Durbin’s first career Homer, a two-run shot gave Brucers a 2–0 lead in the second innings, the veterans set a platform in the left-center for the go-day explosion of the floors at the bottom of the second and the floors in the fifth.

A throwed error by Patrick Bailey, an RBI single and a throwed error by Milwauki’s second baseless Bryce Turang, scored the first two runs of the veterans.

Jung Hu Lee added an RBI triple to the seventh, and the veterans worked on a double-play grounder in the eighth to complete the scoring.

Ray allowed both brooors runs and five hits. He went three and hit four.

Birdsong allowed a hit and two walks, while Fanning Four won the second time in five matches as San Francisco.

Below 4–2, Brucers threatened to top the eighth when Birdsong ran Christian Yelich with one and rice Hoskins with two bottom. But the right -handed batsman hit SAL Flicc with a possible tie at hideouts, protecting the lead.

Floors and Tyler Fitzgerald had two hits for veterans, while Belly participated in a pair of runs.

Durbin’s Homer, which came in his 13th large-league plate appearance, was the only additional-base hit for the broovers, opening a 10-game trip, who won four of his last five.

Grant Anderson (1–1), the third pitcher of Milwauki suffered losses after surrendering the homer of the floors. Brucers Starter Quin Prester was drawn after four-plus innings. He scored four runs on four hits and four runs with three strikes.
