Jordan Spith on Thursday led the clubhouse 12 holes at the Travellers Championships in Cromwell, Conn, which withdrew due to the neck/upper back injury.
Not only does this mark the first return of Spith after 299 incidents on the PGA Tour, he said it was his first time to withdraw “anywhere, anywhere, at any level”.
Spith told reporters that on Thursday, his neck started closing at him during the warmth on the exercise border. He wanted to intestate through the situation, a no-cut, a $ 20 million signature.
