Jerry Jones suspected that Dallas would draft QB, believes in cowboy’s draft plan

Jerry Jones, the owner of the franchise for a long time, does not object to declare that he considers a truth at any point in the Dallas Cowboy Stand, NFL calendar.
Jones said that on Tuesday, he is particularly proud of the success of the cowboy in the draft as the franchise prepares for the 2025 edition on Thursday night.
“We are one of the best draft teams in NFL. I would say,” Jones said. “we are.”
Cowboys are still waiting for the first round of 2023 defensive defensive Maazi Smith (26th total), so that they can live in a position of their sublime drafts, and Oklahoma had a marginal impact in the last season to deal with Tyler Gaitan (29th in total in 2024).
Dallas replaced the head coaches, which elevates the aggressive coordinator Brian Shotenheimer to replace the Mike Macarthi. Continuity in the place was one of the reasons Jones said that he selected Shotenheimer. Player Personnel Vice President McClay, who holds significant weight in the draft room of the cowboy, did not require any introduction to the first head coach.
“Scotty knows what he wants,” McClay said. “This is a spontaneous type of process. A consistent way we do that does not change.”
Shotenhaimer participated in an open dialogue of the pre-draft process as an assistant coach and is the main take-off.
“At the end of the day, you want conviction,” said Shotenheimer.
With number 12 pick, Cowboy is targeting “Best Players on Board”, according to Vice President Stephen Jones. He said that the franchise is committed to collectively avoiding forcing a player who “scratches an itching” or feels the need of a team.
Jones said Cowboy’s financial commitment for quarterback duck prescott in 2024 does not disqualify the possibilities in the quarterback position in the 2025 draft as “players get hurt.” But this step is a longshot when Dallas traded the Patriots backup quarterback which Milton and the fifth round pick for the seventh round on 3 April.
Jones said how the draft plays in which direction the team will take, Jones said.
Vice President Stephen Jones said Cowboy had the opportunity to select Micah Parsons (12th in 2021) and was sure that he was going with a nearby Rashar when wide receiver fell into Dallas at number 17 in Ceedee Lamb 2020.
Stephen Jones said, “You don’t want to see yourself doing this, who is choosing a player, which is much below the line, a round down,” Stephen Jones said. “Great things happen when you (trust) such things. Where are these grades and what these players are, it is true.”
