Kyle Larsen’s dream of completing the classic double of auto racing ended early after crashing at Lap 91 of Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. His long day deteriorated when he was out of Coca-Cola 600 of NASCAR on Sunday night.

In his second attempt in “The Double” for a combined 1,100 possible miles, Larsen finished 27th in the Indycar race and the 37th position after completing 245 out of 400 laps in Charlotte (NC) motor speed. After the race of NASCAR, he told NBC Sports that he did not know if he would try a third attempt on the marathon day of racing. In 2024, she did not get a chance as the rain brought Coca-Cola 600 to a initial end, before Larsen was able to turn on a lap there.

Larsen said on Sunday night, “It’s too fresh right now, I really don’t have a good answer for you.” “Double is just a hard venture. The window of time is very tight. Even if I didn’t do debris (in Indy), I don’t think I would have made it here on time and maybe that race would have to finish, so I really don’t think it is worth it.

“But I would like to re -run Indy 500,” Larsen continued, who went to Arrow McLaren’s Indicar team. “Just I think it is just very difficult to double.”

Larsen was going to Turn 2 after the Indycar race returned to green. He lost control as he was reduced to the twist and was downshift. This caused a spin out and crashed into Sting Ray Rob’s car.

Larsen came out of the car on his own. Earlier in the race, which had a rain-deer beginning, Larsen’s car stopped during the stop of a pit, causing him to cost time and positions.

Larsen said about his accident at Fox Broadcasting from Indianapolis, “I was loose and just found everywhere.” “… I became a little curious on the restart and caused that accident. I hate it to everyone who got stuck in it.

“Bomb out.

Larsen left the Indi 500 ground after a short time through a helicopter to start a trip to Charlotte.

The hendric motorcysts driver began in the front row in the second early position. He passed the pole-site chase Brisco on Lap 9 and would lead to 34 laps.

However, Larsen fought a fight with his car and tagged the wall hard, put himself out of Turn 4 on Lap 42 and was forced to Pit Road for a long time. After repairing, Larsen tried to work back among the contenders.

Then he will be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Briscoe and Ryan Blaney contacted Turn 4, again killed the car of Daniel Suarez with Brisco, which turned to the blue and wandering on the way. Suarez’s car dropped the track down and caught Larsen’s car in the right rear.

Larsen’s car was very damaged to continue, and his dialect to complete the Charlotte race was over.

He is one of the five drivers to run in both Indie 500 and Coca-Cola 600 in a single day. The others are John Andrati (1994), Tony Stewart (1999, 2001), Robbie Gordon (2002-04) and Kurt Busch (2014). Only Stewart finished both races, sixth in Indianapolis and third in Charlotte in 2001.
