Leafs shut down panthers, head home for game 7

Joseph Wole saved 22 to help Toronto Maple Leafs end up with Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, 2–0 in game 6 of his Eastern Conference Semi-final series in Fla.
The best seven series game is Sunday night in 7 Toronto.
Maple Leafs has not moved forward in the finals of the Eastern Conference since 2002, while Stanley Cup Champion Panthers have tried to make a conference final for the third straight season.
Starting his fifth straight game in place of Vol, Anthony Stolarz, who retained the upper body injury during the second period of Game 1, posted his first poston shutout at the beginning of his ninth playoffs. He has only two career regular-sessions in four NHL sessions.
Auston Matthews and Max Paisiorty scored a third-term goals for Toronto, embarrassing domestic damage 6–1 on Wednesday.
Sergei Bobarovski made 15 saves for panthers, who won three consecutive wins to gain a 3-2 series lead.
After two scorching, Matthews gave Maple Leafs a 1-0 lead at 6:20 in the third.
Aaron Ekblad of Florida missed an outlet from the defense partner Gustav Forces, and Mich Morner recovered in the panthers blue line. Marnar quickly went to Matthews, who skated in the left circle before beating Bobarovsky with a wrist shot.
This was the first target of the series for Mathews, the third-head-headed-scorer of the team during the regular season (33), and permission was allowed by Bobarovski in the last nine periods.
Pacioretty made it 2–0 when he proceeded from rescue and clung to Bobby Macman to finish a crowd at 14:17 in a centering pass.
Despite having only two power plays of the first period, panthers were out of 7–2. Florida did not record a shot on a goal at the last 14:17 of the early period.
Maple Leafs then fell silent and did not produce a shot on a goal of the first 10-plus minute of the second period.
