IPL vs PSL vs BBL? Arun Dhumal teased the return of Champions League T20

The Champions League T20 has deteriorated since 2014. CSK defeated KKR to pick up the 6th and the last trophy of the tournament.
The Champions League T20, commonly known as Clt20, may be potentially returned. The tournament was created in 2007, when the Indian Premier League (IPL) was a major success after the inaugural edition. The Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI), England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Cricket Australia (CA) and Cricket South Africa (CSA) came together to create a multi-national franchise event, which was trying to follow the football Champions League.
Clt20 format and how it deteriorated
Teams from India, Australia, England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, West Indies and South Africa, franchise and domestic participated. Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Sydney Sixers and New South Wales Blues won six CLT20 titles among them.
It did a good job for the first three years (2009, 2010 and 2011), but then the audience drowned interest. Spogen did not tolerate the fruit that was expected, and eventually, after 6 versions in 2014, CLT20 was removed. Everyone understood that it was a unique product, yet it was not working.
IPL president teased the return of franchise league competition
For some time, there have been talks about reviving the tournament. Big 3 (India, Australia and England) had expressed interest in bringing back the CLT20 last year.
“I think the Champions League was ahead of its time. The T20 scenario was not mature enough at that time. I think it is now (mature). I know that CA, ECB and BCCI have active conversations about reviving the Champions League. It is trying to find a window to play the tournament as all of you are trying to find a window because you are also getting a window as you are also found,” Cricket Victoria CEO Nick Cummins said last year.
And the current IPL president and former BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal has not rejected the possibility. “This was done before the appropriate time for that kind of event. I won’t say anything, but everything depends on whether we have time availability … If it makes a price for cricket on a global stage, then we can definitely look at it,” Dhumal told Espncricinfo.
What would ‘new’ CLT20 look like?
In the last 11 years, franchise cricket has developed. Every nation has its own league. Many countries also have sub-leagues. If the CLT20 comes into existence again, we can watch teams of IPL, Pakistan Super League (PSL), Big Bash League (IPL), Sau, SA20, Major League Cricket (MLC), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and Lanka Premier League (LPL). Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and LT20. But this cannot happen. Teams of domestic competitions like Super Smash (New Zealand) or T20 Blast (England) may also be involved.
Window issues
The largest tournament has to be found to find a window. The schedule from 13 September to 4 October to 4 October was when CLT20 was played last time. And it can still work. CPL ends in mid -September, and then there is a window where no large franchise league is played.
However, there is an issue. No one can ignore international cricket. Australia, England and India are particularly very serious about Test cricket, and if one of their series matches, CLT20 cannot be played.
One player, many franchisees
Another big issue that was generated earlier was the selection. Players like Rashid Khan are in every big league. So, for which team will he play? Suppose Mi qualifies, will they allow Trent Balt to play for Birmingham Phoenix (Hundred)? It will also be difficult to navigate.
