Brook Lee hit Minnesota Twins for 5–2 in the eighth innings to win 5–2 against Baltimore Oraols on Thursday afternoon at Minoriapolis.
Tye France, who finished with three of the five hits in Minnesota, saw two runs-produce singles and Trevor Larnach as three-game series by Twins. There is a five-game winning line in Minnesota.
Griffin Jacks (1-2) killed two without allowing a hit in a scorer inning of relief.
Oriols, which are placed in a five-game losing line, demolished 9–1 and 5–2 decisions in the first two matches of the series. Yenier Cano (0–2) recorded only one in the eighth, but was responsible for two runs.
Oriols Starter Dean Kreer worked in seven innings, taking out eight batsmen and found two runs and three hits.
Emmanuel Riviera made three hits for Baltimore.
Twins Starter Belly Ober scored two runs, earning one, in five-inning outings that included eight hits permission and six strikes.
After Lee proceeded, France tied 2–2, France dealt with an RBI single. Bayran Buxon went twice and scored two runs.
In the first innings, Twins scored the first score on two-outs of France.
Oriols scored in each of the next two innings. Riviera’s double knocked in one run in the second and Ryan Mountcastal’s sacrifice fly placed the bucket 2–1 in the third.
Despite the struggle in the plate, Mountcastal has noted one of the last four matches to one RBI. He doubled in the fifth innings, in which the runners were not placed second and third, but Ober survived the jam without additional damage.
Larnach prepared more than 2–2 to pull twins with one in the sixth innings. This was the fifth homer of Larnach season, but his first since April 25.
But Baltimore tied the score despite a 10–3 lead in the hit through six innings.
