As a franchise, Chennai Super Kings never suppresses the panic button and the current season has nothing to worry about despite the simple run of a five -time champion in the IPL, his CEO Kasi Vishwanathan told PTI on Wednesday. CSK has lost a record five games in a row this season and find themselves at the bottom of the points table with more than half of the tournament, six defeats in eight matches. He has a shortage of shelling in the batting department and the absence of Captain Ruturaj Gikwad due to an injury has made it worse for only stored organization. CSK CEO has also talked about its team’s run in IPL 2025.

“We are not even performing the scar. We are trying to improve and we will try to do good in the next few games. We have never pressed the panic button in our franchise, this is just a game,” Vishwanathan told PTI.

MS Dhoni is moving back in Gikwad’s absence, but head coach Stephen Fleming has placed it as a ‘magic wand’ and cannot change the fate of the team overnight.

After the defeat to Mumbai Indians, CSK finds himself a win in the remaining six matches, who is already speaking about the plan for 2026 with Dhoni.

Did Dhoni make a change after taking over from Gikwad’s midway in the tournament? “Look, this is not a question of anyone. This is a question that the team should do well and not only one person should do. We do not talk to the team management. Dhoni will do what is right for the team.
