Leon Draisaitl’s OT goal gives 2-0 lead over the knights

Leon Drasatal scored at 15:20 in overtime, winning a 5–4 win over Vegas Golden Nights in Las Vegas on Thursday, a 2–0 lead in the Western Conference semi-final series.
Connor McDwid established the game-winner when he dicks around the Jack Echell in the blue line, which establishes a two-per-one with the dressal, coming under the left wing. McDaid then gave a pass to the dressl, who buried a wrist shot in the left post for the overtime winner of another career.
The best-seven series game is on Saturday night in 3 Edmonton.
Vasili Podcolzine had a goal and a support, each of Victor Arvidson and Ryan Nugant-Hopkins had a pair of assistance and Jake Walman, Darnell Nurse and Evander Kane also scored goals for olers, who extended their NHL record to a line to win their NHL records for a return playoff victory. Calvin Picard ended with 28 savings.
Victor Olofson formed a pair of power-play two goals and one assistance, Echil received three assistance and Alex Pietrangelo had a target and assistance for Vegas. William Carlson also scored a goal and Mark Stone pairing two aids for Golden Nights. Edin Hill saved 33.
Like Game 1, Vegas controlled the action at the beginning of the first period of thanks in part of a pair of punishment by Edmonton. Olers killed one first, but Golden Nights Capital on the other, fined a delay on Adam Henriques, when Olofson passed a stone from under the right circle in the top right corner of the net for his first career playoff goal.
In the second period, the oileers scored three goals in an interval of 5:46 to take a 3–1 lead.
Walman tied it with a slap shot from the left side at the mark of 11:31, which shut down the Shin Pad of Golden Nights Defenseman Breeden Mainab for his first career playoff goal.
Shortly after Picard stopped Tanner Piercene’s point-existent attempt, Olers took a 2–1 lead when Podcolzin ripped a wrist shot over the slot of the slot at 15:18 for the playoff goal of his first career.
The nurse extended the edge 3–1 when he did a shot at 17:17 from the top of the hill over the slot.
Fifty seconds later, Golden Knights cut it 3–2, when Carlson redirected the point shot of Echil via Picard’s pad.
Kane started 4–2 with a wrist shot from a low slot before 4–2 in the third period, which was locked into Pietrangelo’s stick. But Golden Nights returned after less than three minutes, with one-time one-time from the right circle with a power-play goal on another Olofson.
Pietrangelo tied it 4-4 with 8:02, which sets the platform for overtime, to get into regulation with a long wrist shot above the left circle above a tomas hertel screen.
