Redefine IPL 2025
Despite going up and down in batting, KL Rahul has not lost his rhythm. He has been the mainstay of DC in IPL 2025. Rahul has opened, batted at number 3 and scoring is not scoring in all positions.
While 2024 was not bad for Rahul with 520 runs with a strike rate of 37.14 and 136.13, Rahul faced a lot of criticism for his slow start. He even made a notorious change with Sanjeev Goenka, owner of Lucknow Super Veterans and left the team. After denying captaincy in DC, he focused on batting and re -defined his role. He has so far flourished, playing with peace of mind. Rahul has scored an average of 493 runs in 61.63 and has been the DC match winner with a strike rate of 148.04.
“KL wanted to bat at the top of the order, and it’s great to see in the entire flow. When you can see that quality players, you can see the practice and then it is very good to see them putting them in a show during the match,” Kevin Peterson, DC patron, said in the innings break.
Hundreds of the most in T20s
With 7 centuries in T20 and T20I, KL Rahul has equaled Abhishek Sharma. Virat Kohli also leads the chart with 9 centuries, followed by Rohit Sharma 8. Rahul is also the first batsman to hit for centuries for three IPL teams (Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Veteran and Delhi capitals).
