Padres want to build steam in Remach vs. Brave

San Diego Padress manager Mike Shild said that the way his team snatched the six-game losing streak on Friday, he could give the pace of turning things.
Shilt will know that Padress continued her three-market series with Atlanta Braves on Saturday afternoon.
Padress won the series opener 2–1 in the ninth innings on Solo Homer of Mani Machao on Friday. This season, San Diego improved 5–0 against Atlanta.
“We are shaking a sense of heaviness quite well,” said Shield. “You keep walking, keep walking, keep going. You want to see some success and get some breaks, but you make your own brakes in this game. We are broken, and now it’s time to return to the left of the column.”
Meanwhile, Brevs Right Fielder Ronald is trying to build on the excitement brought from the return of Ekuna Junior, who returned to lineup for the first time in about a year after tearing his left ACL.
Acuna saw on the first pitch, which he saw-a 467-foot explosion-and went to 2-for-4 in the game. He also made a fielding gemstone to throw a runner out, trying to pull a single into a double.
“It is just a way who he is as a bowler,” Braves Pitcher Chris Cell said. “Just the electricity that he can make on his own. (That home run) was one of the cooler moments I have ever seen on the baseball ground.”
Atlanta Manager Brian Snightker said, “This was a great first day for him.”
The pitching match for Saturday’s game will include a pair of right hand in San Diego’s Michael King (4-2, 2.59 ERA) and Atlanta’s Grant Homes (2-3, 4.01).
King will start his 11th and does not win from 30 April.
King makes two career appearances (a start) against Atlanta, posting 4.26 ERA without any decision. He faced Braves in the season-opening series and left a game after 2 2/3 innings when he gave four hits and four runs on four walks.
Holmes has allowed two or less runs out of three of its last four to strengthen its role in Atlanta’s rotation. In his most recent outing against Boston last Saturday, he played six innings and scored two runs on three hits, four walks and five strikes. Atlanta lost 7-6.
Holmes has made the presence of only one career against Padress, throwing a scorching innings of relief with two strikes in the early week of the season.
Meanwhile, to make space for acuna on the 40-man roster, Braves nominated the Shortstop Orlando Arcia for assignment.
Arcia formed the 2023 National League all-star team and batted. 264 in that season. But he reached .218 in 2024 and was beaten for a job by Nick Ellen at the beginning of the season.
In 14 sports this season, Archaea was killing. A game was not started from 194 and 22 April.
