Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya was hurt, but on Thursday, during the IPL 2025 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he made a surprising comeback to take Abhishek Sharma’s wicket on a very next delivery. During the 8th over of the SRH innings, Hardik harassed after being upset, as he was fond of giving a ball. He caught his ankle and after a brief investigation, Mi Physio decided to lease his left ankle. When he saw in a lot of pain, he bounced back and on the next ball, Abhishek hit a shot with his bowling and was caught in a sweeper cover by Raj Bawa.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 162 runs for five against Mumbai Indians.

Sent to the bat, SRH rode a useful contribution with Abhishek Sharma (40 runs in 28 balls), Henriqu Kleseen (28), Travis Head (28), Nitish Kumar Reddy (19) and some Lasty Hitting. For MI, Will Jack (2/14), Hardik Pandya (1/42), Jasprit Bumrah (1/21) and Trent Bault (1/29) were among the wickets.
