SEC Commissioner Greg Sanki said on Monday that the college may live in football playoff 12 teams.

“It’s fine,” Sankke said that SEC Media Decase closed in Atlanta. “We have a 12-team playoffs, five conference champions. If we cannot agree then it can remain.”

In SEC, coaches want to see a 16-team playoffs that follow the “5+11” model, made up of five highest ranked conference champions and 11-big dialects.

Big Ten has proposed a format where the Big Ten and Sec will get four automatic dialects, with two ACC and Big 12 and one and another conference with the highest ranked champions. The rest of the areas-or 14 or 16 teams will come from big dialects.

Referring to automatic dialects, Sanki said, “If you do, we get out of the notion of allocation (SEC meeting).” “I think you will probably listen to our coaches again. Big Ten has a different view, that’s fine.”

Although all sides appear in favor of increasing the size of the least area, Sanke said that it is not an foregoing conclusion.

“I think it is the assumption that this magic has to be a moment and something has to happen with detail, and it is to be forced,” he said.

2026 and beyond is the time limit of 1 December to determine a format for CFP.
