Fever cruise for the second blow of the sky in this season

Kelsey Michelle selected a game-high 17 points in 13 and Natasha Howard selected in 13 to lift Indiana fever on Chicago Sky 79-52 in the first WNBA game played at the United Center on Saturday and Natasha Howard in 13.

Indiana (4-4) forced Chicago (2-5) to 21 turnover. The fever inspired the wire to wire and took a 30 -point lead after about three weeks of rooting the sky by 35.

Success from deep propelled Indiana. Fever led by Eri McDonald (12 digits) killed 11 3-pointers for the second straight game, which was associated with three beyond the arc.

Fever coach Stephanie White missed the game for personal reasons. Assistant Austin Kelly served as an interim coach.

Akash shot 32.1 percent from the floor as compared to 45.8 percent for fever. Chicago especially struggled for convenience after the point guard courtney vendersloot, which left the game with a right knee injury on a non-contact game in the first quarter. The team training staff helped to remove the Wanderslut from the floor.

Indiana limited Chicago to 11 points in the third quarter. Kamila Cardoso and Rebecca Allen led the Akash with eight points. Angel Reese snatched a game-high 12 rebound.

Aliah Boston added 11 points to Indiana. The Lexi Hull led the team with six rebels, while Boston, Howard and Mitchell caught Indiana to help Indiana benefit 32–30 on glass.

Chicago exceeded 14 in the first half as fever took advantage of 41-28 in the interval.

Michelle (nine points) and Howard (eight) led a balanced attack for Indiana before the break. Fever received 11 assistance at 14, which was the first half -field goal.

Cataline Clarke (left quad) and Sophie Cunningham (right ankle) of Indiana missed the game. Clarke acted on May 17 with Triple-Dabal (20 points, 10 aids and 10 rebounds) in a fever season-opening home win against Chicago.

Clarke’s influence on the sale of tickets on entering the league in 2024 helped transfer the game to the NBA’s Chicago Bulls’ house, Vintrest Arena to the United Center. Indiana has won five out of six in the all-time series.
