NESC 2025 17th WeC stops India’s victim for glory

The National Asports Championship 2025 aka NESC 2025 The 17th WEC closes India’s prey to Glory, finalizing the BRICS squad.
ESPORTS Federation of India (ESFI) has launched the National Asports Championship 2025 (NESC 2025) to select India’s official contingent for the 17th World Espistry Championship (WEC) organized by the International Asports Federation (IESF). ESFI has also finalized India’s squad for the BRICS Asports Championship 2025, where Gurushish “Atma” Singh and Shuham Khorwal will represent the nation in the Nekan 8.
NESC 2025 will hunt India’s contingent for 17th WeC
The major tournament of the IESF is the most prestigious international asports competition on the calendar, which brings out aristocrats from all over the world. In the National Qualifier, which runs online from 22 May, will feature top Indian athletes competing in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and Dota 2, with registrations open by May 19. The matches will be streamful live on ESFI’s official YouTube channel. In addition, last year’s NESC winner will be given a direct slot in the 17th WEC after the removal of the game from the previous version lineup in Football.

Speaking on the occasion, ESFI Director Lokesh Suzy said: “India’s recent historic gold medal win has proved in the Waves Asports Championships that our athletes can distribute on the global platform. With NESC25, we aim to advance that speed and deepen our international influence. Our vision is clear-our vision is clear-India is clear-India to create a devotion to the structured routes, high-demonstration platforms, and a great vision.”
Along with the preparation of WeC, ESFI has finalized the Indian roster for the BRICS ESPORTS Championship 2025 in Moscow from 28 May to 3 June. After a fierce double-elimination qualifier, characterized by 60 players across the country, Shubham reached close to Khorw by Shubham Khorw. Both athletes will represent India in the BRICS event – where the nation made history with a silver in the previous edition. As part of Russia’s official sports calendar, the tournament will see participation from China, South Africa, UAE, Türkiye, and more.
Speaking over his victory and the opportunity to represent India in BRICS, the soul said: “When I have achieved strong placements in important tournaments and have won many small people, I have not secured 1 place in any major event so far- NES 2025 has marked the victory of my first major tournament.
Shubam, who finished fourth in the BRICS Asports Championship 2024, highlighted his goals for this version: “As I prepare for the upcoming BRICS Asports Championship, every session is about advancing my boundaries. Representing India on an international stage is a responsibility that I take seriously, and this time, I am aiming for podium.”
