Portland Timbers waved defender Miguel Arujo on Thursday.
30-year-old Peru registered four assistance in 25 MLS matches (19 starts) with Portland from 2023-24.
“This decision allows Miguel to focus on the occasion of its next game and gives us the ability to detect options to pursue their roster,” said General Manager Ned Grabwoy. “We wish Miguel and his family.”
Arujo joined Timbers from Dutch side FC Amman in June 2023.
