Forget the Asia Cup, the express pacer is also unavailable for DPL 2025

Mayank Yadav Delhi Premier League (DPL) was not part of the auction pool for the second season of 2025.
This was only last year when Mayank Yadav set the Indian Premier League (IPL) stage with his banging pace, which took the whole world to inform it. Today, however, the same promising young fast bowler finds himself closed in another disappointing battle with fitness. While the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 auction held a lot on July 6, a notable name was missing from the pool, and it was Mayank Yadav. And now, with their long recovery, it seems that the Asia Cup 2025 is also slipping out of reach.
Back Table Return, DPL participation rejected
Mayank’s recurring back injury has once again stopped her growth. After recalling almost the entire IPL 2025 season, where he managed only two matches and two wickets before he broke, his recovery on time for DPL got hopes on his recovery. But DDCA President Rohan Jaitley, while speaking at the auction press conference, confirmed that Mayank remains under medical care and would not be considered until he gets a clean bill of health.
,Mayank Yadav is still recovering. What has been informed to us is that it is for his treatment and in a recovery protocol that will continue for a few weeks“Jaitley said while responding to the query of Insidesport.
“If all of that is available and management etc. is to be loaded that we have to see. He is a capped player and he is going to take care of NCA experts. So, we are not watching it until we get approval (while playing or not),
Mayank also recalled the inauguration season of DPL due to fitness concerns. His constant absence from the Marki League of Delhi, in which the choice of Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma and Priyanus Arya will be seen with his stardom.
Asia Cup continues in crisis as a rehab
With the Asia Cup 2025 – this September (allegedly), the possibility of setting the set -set, Mayank squad played in the T20 format for this September (allegedly) is now extremely thin. The 21 -year -old is advised to travel to New Zealand to consult experts, after Jasprit Bumrah, during his injury trimmed in 2022.
Despite a brief return for LSG in IPL 2025, Mayank’s body has not held. Earlier, he had done a decent outing in the Senior Elite Group T20 in May, taking six wickets in several games for the bill, but clearly it was not enough to suggest full fitness.
