Delhi capitals for calling big KL Rahul with eye on IPL 2025 playoff: Report: Report

According to a report, KL Rahul is likely to open for the Delhi Capital (DC) in its remaining three league matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Due to a dip, DC is seriously considering a batting reshuffle, in which Rahul is batting at the top. So far, Rahul has opened only once this season, batted at number 3 on two occasions and played at the remaining seven game number 4 – a position that was given to him before the season.
According to a report by the Times of India (TOI), the IPL playoffs are largely on the top of the DC order and Rahul’s promotion is on the card, on the card.
The report said, “They have decent returns in the middle-order, but the management is eager to stop the reshuffle of the opener and Rahul’s experience in Powerplay.”
DC, currently out of the top four with 13 points out of 11 matches, suffered a major setback with Premier Pacel Michel Starc, which decided not to return to the rest of the season. The Australian left-armor is going to take the team’s leading wickets with 14 scale, and their absence is a significant setback for DC already thin playoff expectations.
In a little relief, Capital managed to secure the services of Pesar Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh, who received a ‘No Object Certificate’ from his National Board on Friday.
A veteran IPL pracharak with 38 wickets in the 7.84 economy, in several matches, Mustafizur will be expected to have a struggling speed attack against a batting-thunder GT line-up.
The side -led side -led side has abolished a disappointing run at home, which manages just one win – which is also through a super over at Arun Jaitley Stadium this season.
DC problems have deepened only in recent outings. His top and middle-order uprooted Sunrisers Hyderabad in a rain-win match, while his bowlers were inscribed by Punjab Kings, who scored 122 runs for one in just 10.1 overs before leaving the game in Dharamasala.
The speed attack that incorporates enemies Chanera and Mukesh Kumar has struggled to distribute, which is especially against GT’s in-form top order in providing more important to the early successes of Mustafizur.
The batting unit has also been inconsistent. In its last full outing, DC was reduced from 29 to 29 to five by SRH on 5 May. They did not do;
