From 192/0 to 192/10: All 10 players retired, win the match by 163 runs

The cricket world witnessed a bizarre incident on Saturday when the United Arab Emirates (UAE) women’s team would have paid against Qatar in the Women’s T20 World Cup, Asia qualifiers 2025 matches. Opposing the bat, the UAE posted a good 192 score of 192, in which openers Isha Rohit Oja (113) and Theratha Satish (74) posted an unbeaten partnership with stitching. However, after this something very unusual happened because the entire UAE team retired and gave a target of Qatar of 193. This was the first time in the history of cricket when all the players of a team retired.

The reason behind the UAE’s ‘retired out’ strategy was that the match being played in Bangkok was in danger of rain. If the rain had played a spoilspport, the points between the two teams would have shared and to avoid it, the UAE used this bizarre strategy to force a initial conclusion.

This strategy worked with the ball in favor of the UAE, he dropped Qatar for just 29 runs, so, wrapping the match with a positive result before disrupting the weather.

Talking about the match, skipper Isha Rohit Oja scored 113 off 55 balls, along with Hiratha Satish, who scored 74 runs in 42 balls.

None of the Qatar bowlers was able to skull a wicket, but the UAE batsmen retired and ended their innings on their own.

Later, in chasing, Qatar also could not inch towards the target and was out for just 29. Opener Rizfa Emmanuel was the top scorer for Qatar with 20 runs.

For UAE, Mitchell Botha took three wickets, while Katie Thompson took two.

With this win, the UAE has climbed the top of the points table with two wins in several sports. Thailand is second in two matches with three points. Currently, Qatar is at the bottom of the table with disadvantages in his first match.
