Rose Lavel on Thursday assisted her return as a reminder of her dominance with the American women’s national team with a 4–0 win over Ireland in Commerce City, Kolo.

After the ankle surgery, Lavel played for the US for the first time since December 3, 2024.

Every Patterson scored his first American goal in the 18th minute and Sam Coffee doubled the lead in the fourth minute of the first half stoppage time.

Lavel made it 3–0 3–0 with a goal of his 25th career in the 53rd minute with a set-up by a set-dar six minutes later. He will have a chance to add his total to his hometown Cincinnati on Sunday against Ireland.

Elisa Thompson drables from midfield and made a cut before going to the upper right corner for a 4–0 lead in the 63rd minute.

With so much attention to men’s game with club World Cup and ConcacAF Gold Cup, it will be easy to forget how good the USWNT is.

The match at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park was Emma Hayes’s first site on 1 June 2024 as the coach of Americans. It is 19–2–2, including the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Hayes has a luxury of time before the 2027 World Cup, which gives him sufficient opportunity to evaluate new players. Golki Claudia Dickkie and Defenders Lily Reele and Jordan Bagg made their debut, causing a total of 21 debutmen during Hayes’ tenure.
