Toronto FC, F Federico Bernardchi mutually part

Toronto FC on Tuesday announced a mutual farewell with Federico Bernardchi.

Toronto used one of its two purchases of a guaranteed contract, which has been allocated per season to each MLS team.

The 31 -year -old Italian joined the Reds from Juventus as a designated player through the 2022 season.

Toronto general manager Jason Hernandez said, “After internal discussion with Federico, we were aligned that it was the correct moment the right moment.” “We want to thank Fede for his contribution to Toronto FC in the last three years and wishes him in the next chapter of his career.”

Bernardchi scored four goals and four assistance in 15 MLS matches this season, with Toronto’s four-year yoga 25 goals and 12 assistance in 88 matches (87 starts).
