Novak Djokovic Geneva confirms coaching plans for French Open

Novak Djokovic has long been appointed as his coach for both the Geneva Open Open and the upcoming French Open of this week.
Djokovic told reporters in Geneva on Tuesday, “Serbian BJK Cup team captain Duson Wamic, he was in my team a few years ago (and my coach).” “He is here, and will be in Rolland (Garos).”
“Boris Boszacvic, who has been an analyst in the team and auxiliary coaches, share the upcoming tournament with Dusan. And then we will see. I am not in a hurry to choose, or to know if I have anyone else or not. I don’t know. I don’t know. I like them.”
Djokovich’s announcement comes on 13 May on the heels of Serbian partition with Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray, for less than six months of hiring a three -time Grand Slam winner as his coach.
Men’s record-holder Djokovic brought his long-time rival as a coach in late November with 24 Grand Slam singles title. After the Summer Olympics of 2024, Dead retired from his game career.
The partnership did not make a title for Serbian this season. He lost in his only final appearance of the year – in Miami, for the Czech rival Jakub Mennsic – and was dropped in his early matches in Monte Carlo and Madrid.
“He sees the game in an incredible way,” Djokovic said about Murray. “But, how could I say it, we did not achieve together what we expect to achieve in terms of results. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. We tried.”
Djokovic, which celebrates his 38th birthday on Thursday, and Vemic has experience in both Davis Cup and ATP Tour.
48 -year -old Vemic has worked with Brian Brothers, Andrea Petkovic and Brandon Nakashima.
Djokovic will square Hungary’s veteran Marton Fukasovics in his Geneva opener on Wednesday. He is looking for his 100th career ATP singles title.
