Oscar Piastry wins in Saudi Arabia, leads the standing of drivers

McLaren’s Oscar Piastry won the Formula 1 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix on Sunday to step into the driver’s championship after five races in the season.
Piastry was well ahead of the Runner-up Max Vastapane of the Red Bull, who was a five-second penalty to leave the track and get a quick profit in the race.
Charles Lakeler finished third to give Ferrari the first podium of the season. Piastry’s McLaren team fellow Lando Noris finished fourth, while George Russell of Mercedes finished fifth and km Antoneley sixth.
With its third win of the season, and after winning in Bahrain last week, in the second consecutive place, Piastry became the first driver of Australia to lead the drivers championship standing since Mark Weber in 2010. This is the first time Piastry has led the standing of drivers in its F1 career.
Piastry, which was number 2 on the early grid, eventually took an lead on the 3.8-mile track, when Vastapane served her penalty during a pit stop at 22. He finished his fifth career victory in the 51st position, without much more challenging from Vastapane.
Apart from winning in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Piysthan also won the second season race in China. McLaren won four out of five races after winning the season-opening race in Australia.
Vestapen’s runner-up Finnish came after winning Saudi Arabia Grand Prix over the years.
After a week’s holiday, F1 May 4 went to the United States for the first time this season with Miami Grand Prix.
