CSK coach Stephen Fleming’s Blunt took Jadeja-Dube’s ‘Conservative’ Middle Edition Show

Head coach Stephen Fleming said that Chennai Super Kings are “realistic” about their position in this year’s Indian Premier League, but he said that the five -time champions would leave no stone unturned to find players for next year. Mumbai Indians on Sunday on Sunday had a nine-wicket-led side to limit the nine wickets here to limit the nine wickets here after nine wickets here, CSK had to face an out-of-corts CSK in eight matches.

CSK fought its way up to 176/5, but it was not enough on a batting -friendly surface, on which Rohit Sharma (not 76 not out) and Suryakumar Yadav (not 68) kept the visiting booler for the sword.
Fleming told the media, “It is difficult when you are playing below to be enthusiastic about being in the competition, but we should do so.”
Fleming said that the CSK think-tank would be seen to learn from such experiences from the past to move around its fate. Fleming impressed his team in 2023, when he lifted the title after finishing ninth in 2022.
He said, “Nothing will be wasted during this tournament, we will look at other tournaments that have not gone in our way and some work we have done at the back end of the tournament, which we establish us to win the next year,” he said.
He said, “We are realistic about the situation we are doing, but there will be no stone unturned in search of players for next year, combination for next year, and we will see it as an opportunity,” he said.
Fleming continued, “(this) is not a great opportunity because we want to stay at the pointed end of the competition, but if it works that we have no chance to meet through (for the playoffs), we will definitely take the most advantage of it.”
The MI batsmen showed the way by scoring 177 for one of the 15.4 overs at a fast rate, which was contrary to the conservative approach of CSK for a large part of their innings. Fleming attributed it to a “lack of confidence”.
“We are not trying to play a conservative brand of cricket, we just lack a little confidence and we are just changing the personnel through one reason or another,” he said.
CSK, batting first, got its first limit at the end of the third over and this debutant Ayush Mahatre’s aggressive 15-gends 32 was due to 32 that they were able to reach 48/1 in power play.
But despite Matre’s heroes, CSK went into his shell when the pressure was implemented, even Ravindra Jadeja (53 Not Out) and Shivam Dubey (50) scored 79 runs for the fourth wicket.
“He felt the ball was stopping, which made it difficult, but we needed to be more active in all ways,” Fleming said about Jadeja and Dube stand, which dragged CSK at the end from 92/3 to 13 overs from 176/5 in 13 overs.
“We are just trying to find a tempo that is going to help us compete and at this time, we can correct it in one area, but other areas are allowing us to go down. We are plugging holes at one place, but it is still leaking into others and it can often happen when you are slightly down on luck.”
Fleming continued, “But we are just trying to get it correctly and if not, as I said, we will try to open our attention and free the players for the rest of the season.”
