Texas WCWS takes Oklahoma to proceed in the semi -finals

Oklahoma City-Cayden Henry broke a tie with the fifth innings domestic run and Jolie Mitchell on Saturday exploded another explosion in the sixth to help win 4–2 in the four-time defending champion Oklahoma in the Women’s College World Series.
Longhorn will play in the semi -finals on Monday, requiring a win in two attempts to move forward in the WCWS Championship series for the third time in four sessions. Sooners will play Oregon in an eradication game on Sunday.
Texas had never defeated Sunis at WCWS and had not defeated Oklahoma in the Oklahoma state since 2014.
With one in the fifth, Henry jumped for a line-drive home run on the first pitch of Sam Landry and placed Longhorn above 3–2.
Mitchell then led the sixth place with his third domestic run of WCWS and expanded the lead.
But it was not over.
Tigan Kavan hit Ella Parker, then Nelly McKeno-Marinas with a single with a single, which was brought out to move in the plate.
But Longhorn’s IC hit Gabbi Garcia and Hannah Kur to escape the jam within three wins of their first WCWS title and transfer Texas.
Texas first took a 2–0 lead, but Oklahoma quickly responded with two in the second to tie it.
After that, however, rescue and pitcher settled to Henry’s Go-Hed Homer.
